Few minor criticisms. These characters are from the United States but you have them saying very British things. For example, Espo says we are “We are well rid of him.” That’s British. In the US, we might say “We are lucky to be rid of him.” Jim asks why they didn’t go after Beckett “straight away”. British. An American would say “right away”. Also can’t see Jim dropping the f bomb repeatedly if Katie’s friends came to him in confidence.

This was a good update. At least we now know why Lanie was at Rick's and why she was wearing his robe. I hope Jim will have a good conversation with Rick and soon he will also talk to Kate and maybe get her to calm down long enough to listen to reason.

So, who gets the 'Absolutely Fabulous'* job of warning Castle that Jim might just want to talk to him? Particularly, as it does appear that, Jim has his doubts about any talk with Rick and the good that it might do. Jim does know his Kate, after all. ;)
Looking forward to Jim's talk with Castle, whose tremendous ego had a lot to do with his misconception, causing his punishingly deceitful and hurtful actions in the first place. Why would Kate want to take him back after he went out of his way to hurt her because he didn't love her enough to talk to her about what he heard? ;)
