Where do you come up with these things?! Not just the idea of using ice cream flavors for swears, but also the alien swears in the beginning? I mean really, that's just cookies and cream awesome!
Stubbing your toe is definitely a vanilla bean level of pain. Plus, Coran's apparent inability to use proper ice cream names is just a Coran thing.

Imaginative. Very imaginative. :D I like the checkers game, and how Shiro's really tired of listening to them... And Hunk WOULD think of that idea!
If you bark your shin on a metal edge or something, hopping around and shouting, "Oh, chocolate peppermint STRIPE!" is rather satisfying, and this was taken to a whole new level. ;)
I like Pidge's line: "Do not question my pain scale." :)

Another really cool chapter with a great blend of action and character exploration. I don't know how you keep doing it, but I don't have to in order to enjoy the heck out of it. I understand the significance of the constellations, but I think you might've gotten Cassiopeia and Andromeda switched. I also spotted the Doctor Who reference in your A.N., you clever writer. ;) Please keep writing!

Orion - Keith - Leo - Lion - Cassiopeia - no idea? I'm not sure if any of those were right, but there's my two cents' worth. :) Maybe the Castle of Lions could fly to Altea's former position so Shiro could see the constellations? ':D
ALSO, I really love the part with Pidge and Lance. And did you do the flowers' colors on purpose? I presume you did, but, you know . . . blue and yellow flowers, red flowers with black centers . . . and greenery, of course.
Keep up the great work!

Love, love what you are doing with the Paladin and lion bonds! Why didn't the showmakers include ideas such as these?
I have to laugh at Pidge. The not really outdoorsy Paladin has become obsessed with plants! Ah, she and Lance are so cute with the flower crown!
And Keith, my little pyro... don't burn down the Castle, there's only one.

Wow, this is a side of the paladin/lion bond that never occurred to me! Although, would Lance go from constantly on the chilly side to basically feverish after becoming the red paladin? Hm, just thinking.
I think it is adorable that the team collects rocks for Hunk! Keeps him "grounded" while in space.
The effect on Pidge is my favorite: craving salads and wanting to explore.
