I really enjoyed this. You could so see Chakotay acting in exactly this way. I loved the portrait of Seven, it was just so realistic. I laughed at the hologram scenes and felt sadden by her feeling imperfect.

I always enjoy reading your work. I liked the Chakotay point of view, and the wry glimpse of the dates - that clearly were more suited to Kathryn - and felt this was charming on the Seven front too.
I’m crazily wrapping up work projects as about to have major surgery, so haven’t had enough time to enjoy others fic let alone write any!

I really like how this story ended, Beth. I was sad Kathryn wasn't able to greet her mother or Chakotay his sister, but the reunion between the former command team was very sweet.
