I loved this chapter! I'm so happy that Emalynn did well in her private sessions! And Jollin did pretty good, too, nice! Lilac, on the other hand, didn't do so great. XD Oh man, Serena is going to be a force to be reckoned with this year, yikes. I'm surprised Darwin did poorly, since they're a Career. A special surprise? Ohhh, intriguing.
1. Serena definitely did the best.
2. Umm, probably Lilac. Aston didn't do too great, either.

Aston- Aston and Fingleigh make such a good pair! I think they'll work really well together in the games. Aston seems to be opening up a little more to others than he did during the Reaping, and I'm glad to see it.
Blaze- Poor Jollin! Blaze is such a jerk, and I really don't like him. Still, though, he seems pretty strong and he could be a pretty tough contender. I'm surprised he tried to learn about the plants, it doesn't really seem like something he would care about. It is smart of him to learn about them, though, because he's right- they could be deadly to him in the arena.
Flax- this guy is honestly so freaking creepy. He's going to give me nightmares. D: I really want him to die a painful death in the games, because he kind of deserves it. Despite hating him, though, he is really fun to read about. His interactions are very interesting (though a little scary). :)

That was a entertaining bloodbath, the addition of the godly powers definitely made it unique and fun to read. While I didn’t like Blaze, I thought he would last longer. But then again, it makes total sense for Serena to take out a threat early on. Flax was a jerk but I thought he would have done more damage with his super strength, but that’s another threat gone. I really liked Ellis and I’m sad to see him go. It’s definitely going to develop Liva’s character. Lilac was annoying since she refused to believed that Cobalt dates Jace, but I wasn’t expecting Cobalt to take her out. Marvlo was a sweet kid but I had a feeling he wouldn’t last long, but I’ll miss him. Aston and Finleigh were a solid pair but it makes sense since they fought against the careers. They were good characters though. Lennox wasn’t my favorite but it was interesting that he was a pyromaniac. I found it ironic that he was killed by Raylie since she has fire powers so that was a nice touch of irony. That was a great start to the games and I can’t wait to see more! Overall, great chapter as usual and I can’t wait until the next one!

Lennox- Hmmm, interesting how he tried to interact with the other crazy tributes. Of the three, I think I like him the most, he doesn't seem quite as psychotic as the others. Lol I'm actually a little disappointed because I was hoping these guys would ally and form a terrifying trio, that would be so fun to see. But it's probably unrealistic since all of them seem to hate pretty much everything.
Briar- OH. YES YES! Oh, this is gonna be so much FUN! This alliance is so awesome! They're all young, which could bode badly for them, but then again there are 5 of them so hopefully what they lack in strength they'll make up for in numbers. I honestly CANNOT WAIT to see these guys together in the arena!
Falco- This is intriguing. I didn't expect Shey to become allies with people besides Falco. I like all of the members in this group, but since Falco doesn't seem to like it I think it could cause some tension and lead to a betrayal. It's super sweet how Falco's going to kill himself for Shey to go home.

I'm gonna write a few more reviews.
Lilac- Lilac's just being Lilac, as usual. I sort of feel bad for her, but I mostly just... don't. Like, she doesn't really have a right to be made at Cobalt. I get that he stole her crush and stuff, but it isn't really his fault. It is kind of funny to watch play out, though. :)
Ajax- Huh. So Blaze is out of the Careers and Cobalt is in, assuming he joins. It'll be interesting to see how he functions in the pack. And I can't decide if kicking out Blaze was a good idea or not. I can see the logic behind it, and he'd probably annoy the Careers a lot, but he's still a big threat, and so it might have been smarter of them to keep him around for a little while and then just kill him in his sleep. I'm super excited to see how the Careers function this year, I think they have the potential to do some serious damage in the arena.
Liva- I love seeing these two together, they have such a sweet relationship. I'm surprised to see the small friendship between Sadie and Ellis. I wonder if they'll kill each other in the arena when the time comes? I would think that Sadie wouldn't hesitate to kill him, but she seems to be somewhat nice so I don't know, she could prove me wrong.

Starting the games early was definitely a surprise but I don’t mind, I’m really excited to start the games and see the powers in action. I’m not sure who will die or win, but I can’t wait to see. Overall, great chapter as usual and I can’t wait until the next one!

The scores were well balanced and interesting. Tributes like Emalynn, Marvlo and Cobalt surprised me in a good way. I wasn’t expecting Darwin and Blaze to get low scores so it really keeps the scores interesting.
Question
This is a really tough one. I think Serena will do great because she gotten a 11 and she has lightning powers which overpowers water. But the tributes with water powers have a huge advantage in the arena. The careers are also deadly. Like I said this is a really tough question because we got a talented group of tributes with crazy powers. I can’t wait to see what you got planned.
Overall, great chapter as usual and I can’t wait until the next one!

Ok I don't have a lot of time so I'm going to try and make this short.
D1: I love their costumes! Especially Sadie's, it sounds so pretty.
D2: Fairly simple but nice all the same.
D3: Aww, poor Jollin. Yeah, these costumes are not the best lol. And the bloodstains are just freaking scary. Like, who designed these costumes?! XD
D4: I like these costumes as well. The trident with Blaze was a nice extra touch.
D5: I love these outfits! They're very creative and super cool. And I love Marvlo and Emalynn together, they're so cute. :D
D6: This sounds like a pretty neat design, I like the idea.
D7: Awww, poor Raylie and Briar. These are awesome costumes, too.

Jollin: Oh man! While Blaze is right- avoiding little injuries like scratches will be difficult- I still love this power! It is going to be extremely helpful in the arena. And that was kind of scary when Blaze started choking the guy, but then Jollin came in and saved the day! This should be very useful in the games. Btw I also liked the interaction between Jollin and Blaze.
Finleigh: HOLY COW THIS POWER IS AWESOME. Like someone could swing a sword at her and it'll just bounce right off! :D I'm fairly certain that she'll be able to go pretty far now, though maybe I'll be surprised, we'll just have to see.
Flax: Lol Flax terrifies me but it's kind of funny to see his interactions with other people. And him getting superhuman strength is freaky. Like, he could just pick people up and slam them into the ground repetitively until they died. Or maybe he'll just be able to tear up a palm tree and throw it down on the other tributes... D: At least he doesn't have immunity to attacks, though.
Emalynn: EMALYNN YES! I'm so happy she got water powers! This will be a huge advantage for her in the games. She's really young (and she doesn't have a hand yikes) so I still doubt that she'll win. But she'll definitely go farther than she would've without this power. :D

Ellis: It's nice to see that Ellis and Sadie have formed a sort of odd friendship. It gives Sadie some humanity, and I like her a little more now. Superspeed will be very helpful, but it's going to make Sadie a force to be reckoned with.
Now that I'm seeing the powers come to life, I'm even more excited for the games to come! It's going to be so fun to watch all the tributes with their superpowers.
