Daphne, my dear, you're quite right about complementary strengths and weaknesses in couples who are quite different.
I have a degree in art. I'm illogical, grow flowers, and I'm terrible at math.
I married a CPA (in Britain, a Chartered Accountant) who can't draw a stick figure, and thinks that everything should be in its place. He once told me that, left to his own devices, the house would have a green mustache of bushes and he'd be done with it.
He LOVES our flower garden. I LOVE that he knows where everything is.
I sometimes joke that the only things that we have in common are our stances on religion, politics, money and child-rearing.
We've struggled with the vagaries of that for almost 40 years, but if you get the things that are Actually Important sorted out, the rest just serves to keep it interesting.

I'm a little late to the party here but in case you still check reviews I'll say that this so far has been to me the best and most realistic "changing the wizarding world after the war" fic I've ever read. And the romance so far has been really well written. You're a talented author

An Absolutely Marvelous Story!
I Love all the details, the deep-dive into the main characters, the richness as you fill out the bare bones of JKR’s world!
I was worried you would tie things up abruptly when I was nearing the last chapter, so glad to see there is a sequel!

Every interaction made me cringe. The premise is unbelievable.
