I just...of course! This would make so much sense though! I mean, in the MCU there's even freaking Avengers action figure. XD
And very own comic issues. Wow. There is actually an Incredibles comic. Or comics since there is a short comic of the second movie. And the original comic is probably discontinued, though I'm not really 100% sure. But most likely.
So cool... I just... that last one really left it to the imagination so forgive me for asking but...what was in the 1943 comic issue? I'm snickering because I'm imagining something so embarassing. I mean, Bob and Helen were young soooooo...hihihi. I'm legitimately giggling. Not even a chuckle, just straight up giggling.

I think you broke the page. I can barely see the story.

Ahh, I loved this so much! What a precious moment, and written with so much warm humour!
Of course Winston would have all the superhero collectibles at home, and it's so sweet that he'd share them with the Parr kids (which he totally would, because he's a sweetheart). Bob's grumpiness over the model Mr. Incredible not having the right nose was absolutely hilarious and totally something I can see him getting hung up on. He really is like a petulant child sometimes (but he's adorable anyway!), and this captured that part of his personality perfectly. Plus Jack-Jack chewing on the model Mr. Incredible's leg was too funny. Poor Bob. xD
But I loved the way that Helen steadied him and made him look at the bigger picture of how much the kids loved them and looked up to them. So lovely.
And then the ending was brilliant! I'm sitting here with a stupid smile on my face! If you ever want to expand on what was in the December 1943 edition, I won't stop you! ;) With that outrageous flirting in the Glory Days, we all know that there had to be some ridiculous PDA going on in those days! Poor kids would be scarred for life. xD I loved the way you brought the fic full circle with Helen echoing Bob's "You really didn't have to do that!", I thought that was a brilliant touch.
Thanks so much for posting this, and I really, really hope you write more Bob/Helen soon! :)
