I am so glad that you told Seven's story. I'm glad that she had her mother at first in Unimatrix Zero and had others to assist her through the years, including Axum.

This was a really lovely glimpse into how the relationship between Seven and Axum came to be. I enjoy the fact that you gave us a glimpse of Icheb and the Doctor’s feelings on the relationship, as they gave us quite a bit of color. And the scenario that led to ask him being in the alpha quadrant was very plausible. Thank you for another wonderful story!

One thing that I really appreciate about your writing is that it makes me see the episodes in a different light. I definitely want to go back and watch these scenes again, as this story is making me appreciate how very difficult the entire situation was for Seven. To find a life she lost, and then to immediately lose it again. She really is a wonderful character to explore. And I agree with you about the lack of need for the outfits ;)

I can only imagine how unsettling that moment was for Seven. She already lost two lives (as a child and then as a Borg) and now is learning that she really lost another one. Yet there was no time to process anything.

I knew that this incident was coming, but you really highlighted the emotions of the incident and the impact it had on Seven. It was also nice seeing her perspective on the incident now, given that we previously read about her thoughts when she spoke to ask Axum.

That entire situation with the Kadi was hysterical. I was laughing through that entire scene. As annoying as the Doctor was, I have to feel a little bad for him. Seven was completely oblivious to his true motives

I can certainly understand Seven’s anger towards her father, but even then I imagine seeing him with the queen was jarring. There is simply no way to see someone that you once loved in that position and be unaffected. I thought having her reach out and speak to Tom was brilliant. And, of course, it makes sense that would accidentally lead to her spying on Tom and B’Elanna
