I love the whole idea of the Sign, and wizarding betrothals and sponsors. Marriage is not something we're shown much of in the books - just the ceremony for Bill and Fleur, and Tonks and Lupin get married between books. Yet your additions feel totally believable within the world JKR created, considering the underlying thread through the whole series that love is a kind of magic too. So I feel this is just the sort of wizarding concept she might have introduced if she continued the story!
In this chapter, I enjoyed the visit to Neville's house. He sometimes gets forgotten, but he's one of the best characters!

I love that Hagrid and McGonagall are their chosen sponsors (assuming Harry talks Hagrid round!) and both their reactions! And great start to the Grimmauld Place restoration, well done Kreacher. I particularly liked your descriptions on the ghostly outlines on the wallpaper from the paintings he had removed.

Teehee. This made me chuckle...Ginny's no-nonsense practicality regarding her wedding night and how Harry - after his initial shock - realises he now can't think of anything else. Cool idea to have Seamus helping to restore Grimmauld Place too. I'd like to see Harry finally being able to use Sirius' inheritance and have a place of his own.

Love it! I was thinking, but how about Harry and Ginny, why just Ron and Hermione? And there you go :D And I've always lovely Ginny's fieriness so the description of her like a fierce Celtic warrior with the sun in her face and her eyes on fire was literally perfect to me.
The background to the Sign was very good too, I like how you tied it into the saying 'wearing your heart on your sleeve'. Really great chapter!

Wow, interesting development! I'm so shocked at Hermione's parents! We know pretty much nothing about them from the books so it is completely believable that they could be strict and a little narrow-minded when wanting the best for their only daughter. I love Molly :D she is so perfect.
The bit with George realising he was intruding so leaving to be polite - then promptly eavesdropping accidentally-on-purpose by leaving his door open made me chuckle!
