So it appears we have, besides the 'villain' duo of Jeanne Alter and Edmond Dantes, alliances which will probably end up in a Jeanne/Siegfried and Ozymandias/Nero vs Gilgamesh/Iskandar and Mordred/Merlin. Cu/Scathach and Brynhildr/Sigurd are probably more fluid. The latter especially I could see all but ignoring the Grail War, just having a romantic getaway in the background until attacked.
Surprised more of the Servant-Masters aren't freaking out about losing their power. Servants are used to weird situations, but personal power is so intrinsic to so many Servants. Ozymandias and Gilgamesh might view it as mere inconvenience, believing in genuine divine right to their authority regardless of their power, but Mordred and Cu I could see cussing at every inconvenience of being a normal human.
The Servants seem to remember alternate holy grail wars? Does that mean Jeanne is in love with Sieg or is her memory of her time there in more hazy and disconnected like most Servants regarding other timelines? What about the other Servants? Are all potential alternate times they were summoned remembered here?

So nice to see Sigurd and Bryn together! LOVE IIIIIT! Mordred and Gilgamesh's conversation was quite interesting, I wonder which route this Gil experienced. I think the bar scene could have been done better, just seems a bit...stereotypical. It was good but not the best it could have been. Let's see...you could have had them play pool or something. The guys coming to kick Edmond's ass was a bit forced I think. Oh, also I think that the two Avengers should just have this recurring thing where they just go to a different bar every chapter and drink until their alcohol runs out.

That was a really enjoyable fight scene at the end. I also cant help but grin at Gilgamesh, who is in turn grinning at the irony of Mordred's situation. Cleverly done. There is one thing I wonder...Is this "war" just that, a straight up war? Or will it be like most all the other Grail Wars where there's always another, deeper plot?
Well, no need to answer that but know I will be keeping that in mind.

I think Gilgamesh should have different insults for some people, like fool for Iskandar and jester for Merlin. Apart from that really nice chapter, I enjoyed reading as always.

Nice. Now the Servants will be the Masters! I wonder if this new Holy Grail War takes place after the 5th Holy Grail War and if we get the return of people like Shirou, Rin and Sakura to get involved in this new mess (but not as Masters this time).
From what we can see, Lancer and Ruler in summoning their Servants lost their powers and became human. I wonder what the corrupted Grail (Angra Mainyu) ended up doing this time.
