At least having EMIYA as the protagonist instead of the classic, ally of justice Shirou is refreshing.

Once again, it would appear everyone's favorite Counter Guardian has been summoned by a Troublesome Master. How will his cynical point of view affect and be affected by Ruby's optimism?
Will he finally grasp the light and become a True Hero? Or will Ruby Drown in her Ideals and Die?

So Emiya is going to die in the future, that is a pretty bleak way to start. I would have preferred it if you chose to foreshadow this conclusion later on in the story, however it is just personal taste. P.S I feel that you should continue the first Huntsman of Red, you left it off on a cliffhanger and I would like to see what you envision next.

I've never understood the appeal of the style where you start at the end and then tell the story. So, now we know, Shiro dies. Why would I then continue reading?
