I recently watched through a 1996 fox show called "Profit" on youtube. In the pilot, the character Jim Profit sets his sights on the "President of Aquisitions" position in "Gracen and Gracen", a "family company".
Profit trips so many of the "super xander" tropes it's not even funny. Sure enough, there's some incest there, the writers and producers went on to Angel, creating Wolfram & Hart.
What I'm saying is, I think this Xander might end up becoming a replacement Jim Profit.
Considering the infamous "Halloween" episode aired in 1997, and Profit aired in 1996, it's entirely possible Xander already has.
Profit might find trouble signing a contract with Wolfram & Hart, one of his detractors says she'd like him, if he picked up a soul.
The only downside is that while Jim Profit has a killer penthouse, and a high-end wardrobe, he sleeps in a cardboard box, behind a bookcase and fish tank.
I feel like sleeping behind a fish tank might make Xander... hungry.
Finally, Profit was grooming his secretary to become Executive Material.

This was awesome dude! I kinda wanna barrow this idea for myself at some point if you're okay with it. You immediately made me think of a nicer more competent version of Combatants will be Dispatched and I love you, (no homo) for it. I hope to see more of this, if and when you have the time.
