Awww, that was a very sweet story. I did like Erik's character, both solemn, yet teasing, sweet but stern, gentle yet ready to spring into action and punab anyone who dared to hurt his Christine.
I found it just the right amount of fluffy and Phantomy.

Ah stupid Florence! I was just chased out of NC by her myself, so you have my utmost sympathy in dealing with her nonsense.
On a more positive note, this story was beautiful. It was so sweet watching these two play hooky and spend some quiet time together. I really liked how open Erik was with Christine about his past; that's kind of a rarity in fanfiction so it was refreshing to see it here. Another little tidbit I liked was Christine trying to be careful in her behavior when trying to get Erik to slack off with her, ie: being concerned about flirting and sending the wrong message when she's not sure of her feelings for him. Something that I think gets forgotten from the original is that Christine actually did have genuine care for Erik. This scene showed that care in a very nice, subtle way.
Great fic and I look forward to reading your LND rewrite when it's done.
