Great start to this fic. Was Slytherin a channeler? Obviously, not being the Dragon, he might not have been as powerful as Harry might become. But could he know the ancient tales of channelers from a previous round of the Wheel?

Just read through the entirety of the story so far. I have enjoyed what your doing. I am not sure the characters are really faithful to Harry Potter, but I think the central mystery is interesting and I look forward to where it is going.
I hope this isn't abandoned as its been nigh on 6 months since an update.

Great cliffhanger. I'm really enjoying this story, and you have done a great job at character development, but you leave a lot to anticipation in a pleasant way!

... You know, that is why I, for all of being a HUGE WoT fan that loves crossover fanfics, nevertheless always flinch at WoT crossover fics.
Using Rand as the fuel for some teen angst filled god-like indy-Harry fic... Is like using a freaking nuke to swat a fly, and that is ASIDE from the fact that it is anathema to the entire POINT of Rand's entire freaking character arc... Randdrowning in angstthe Dark One winning.
Rand is not just some super powerful Mary Sue. He is the pivot point in a war between good and evil. He is a Fisher King. The world reflects him, and he reflects the world.
Randangstrandom wars breaking out all over the planet.
Rand going all "by any means necessary"the world doing so, and thus the Shadow growing in power.
Rand loses hope for tomorrow, and crops will literally start dying.
In short... He is massively overkill for this kind of story, and the entire point of his story arc has him growing OUT of his angst... Angst mind, that he had vastly better reason for to begin with.
... Then of course, there is just the fact that he is simply insanely more deadly then any Harry Potter Wizard. He'd rip Voldemort a few hundred new ones without even half trying... Though really, Voldemort is kind of beneath his notice to begin with.
