The show writers were quacks just collecting a pay check. This is a fitting scene for the show.

I felt like the show hinted at a happy ending, but I personally would have appreciated a little more. This wraps things up much nicer for me. Thanks. Looking forward to reading Sarah vs the hello.

This was the much needed scene that would have made the finale tolerable.
It doesn't kill all of Sarah's growth as a character as the actual finale did.
Thank you for this story it is great!

Great post 5-13 story. The beginning of a happy ending for Charah. Thanks for posting this for us.

Sweet attempt at fixing what still today looks like unfinished business - and I am not one to complain so quickly about unusual finales (ST-VOY finale comes to mind, unusual for the franchise). This story could fill that gap, as it delivers what one previous review (by David Carner) said: "That beach scene...you just need 30 more seconds of something, and this is perfect." Seconded.

Thank you. So cathartic. I rarely watch the finale (I stop with “Baby” while all is right with the world) but when I do I know I will return to this drablet ( :-) ) to ease the pain (and anger).
Bravo!

Holy smokes! How is it that I never wrote a review for this story, WG? I came back to reread the story (something I've done many times) and decided to look at the reviews as I was curious to see what I had said… and I hadn't! We've discussed this story so much directly, I've even written about it in my own author notes and borrowed from it for my story, but I must add this here- This story calmed the storm that the series finale had left in me. Before, from time to time some odd or end would make me remember the finale and it would bring back the frustration and anguish that the finale had rained down upon me. This story helped to mostly wash that away; as I've said elsewhere, reading it the first time was therapeutic. Thank you.

I never tire of these types of stories. Thanks for giving us such a warm and fuzzy extension of that final scene. You managed to really get the emotions of the situation in such a short one shot. Well done.

Ok, Ok, so I'm an idiot. I reviewed Hail Mary before I found this one.
Well done. Thank you!

Until you wrote this, I did not think that anyone
could fix that crap ending. I think that you did
an excellent job with this story. This posting made
my day in the Fan Fiction world. Thank You, JR
