If I had to put it into words, I'd say your OC, Alex, isn't experiencing the normal definition of deja vu, but the definition from a character completely unrelated to Code Lyoko, Suzumi Kuzu. According to this person, going back in time does not completely wipe everyone's memories. In some cases, those memories come with their owners, as memories of the future. And if those memories contain how the owner of the memories dies, it really messes them up. Not that the latter happens all that much. Usually it's minor things, like names, places, and a few events, but in rare cases, it may be possible to remember an entire sequence of events. Is this a fair statement of what's going on?

This was an excellent thing to read! I've just recently rewatched Code Lyoko, and immidiatedly looked for fanfiction afterwards. This was exactly what I wanted!
I actually like Alex's design. It's unique without being gratuitous. If you have any pictures of it, that would be amazing!
I'm also interigued with his backstory, since it's a bit...blank. Unlike a lot of them, I can't tell right away if he's anything "special". Well, besides the fact that the memory wipes don't seem to affect him all the way.

A good start! The first "Code Lyoko" cartoon was one I watched when I was younger, as well. I am interested in seeing how this goes. The "gunslinger" motif/image Alex has as his virtual form fits Alex's description as a video gamer (and you do mention Alex's interest in video games in this chapter. What will his special power be, I wonder? When will he have a chance to "shine?
I have had fun reading this, as you can probably tell from my words here. A bit of advice: since you mentioned you find transcripts of shows for your stories (and you have not found any for Code Lyoko), be careful if you change any specific dialogue for episodes. You probably already know this. Keep the story going!

It seems like going to Lyoko and joining the gang is going to do wonders for Alex
So far since joining the school and helping with teddyzilla he has opened up a bit more to people even if it was by a small amount and his willingness to help others even if it puts him in danger
Hopefully with the help of his new friends he will gain more confidence in himself and his social skills will improve
Although it looks like it might take a while to gain Yumis trust
I like Alex's cowboy/assassin look and all his weapons are awesome especially those guns that shoot lasers similar to XANAs monsters
Buy I can help but wonder what his special ability will be
Based on his look I have a few guesses/ideas...
1. The power of invisibility, although knowing lyoko its effect will probably be temporary
2. A charged shot, the ability to fire one big powerful blast at the cost of all his ammo
3. The ability to control or tame one monster at a time, maybe by touching a monster XANA eye, just imagine him riding some of the monsters

Kinda surprised how I am into these OC-indulged fanfiction these days. I don't know, usually I'm against this kind of fic, but for this, it seems that my interest has raised up a bit.
I like how you could execute the introduction of your OC to this storyline. Not so rushed, and it's unusual not like any other OC stories when the OC be like "Oh I friended with one of those members and I should know why they always gone somewhere when there's a trouble. Let's follow them then become one of the Warriors if they tell us their secret."
Now your task is explain to us how Alex got his deja vû, and I'm looking forward for it ;)

You have no idea how pumped I was that you went with the cowboy/gunslinger motif for Alex. Man that was the highlight for me.
I like how you ‘skipped’ over that run away bus episode, though I’m upset there wasn’t a Keanu Reaves joke in there.
Yumi’s distrust was pretty thick there, and it was upsetting to not get some better team work between them, which I guess could happen whenever but meh, anyway I’m exited as all get out to see more of ‘Alex the Kid’

Dude I remember buying an Odd figure in a store ages ago and it came with a dvd with the first episode, this episode, on it plus that segment where Ulrich teaches you some of his technique and stuff, but reading this was such a blast of nostalgia that giving you honest critiques is going to be nigh impossible.
But I’ll still try; The first thing I wanna being up is how you closely follow and the story so accurately and put Alex in so seamlessly, though I’m hoping later on his impact is a bit more...major...? Anyway, everything about this was really solid. Well written. And I couldn’t have asked for more. See you in episode three (2).
Oh! And you did a great job moving a medium which was meant to be viewed and transforming it into a read one.

Gotta day, I liked it, a modest character introduction can often win over an audience much better than a flashy one, and while Alex is coming off at the edgy loner kid who talks to no one and spends free period listening to Green Day (they were still a thing back in 2005-07I think your giving yourself a lot of room for development. Now the anxious silent type definitely isn’t ‘new’ but in this show, someone like Alex could really shift the dynamic. And now I have to ask; pairings, just what are your thoughts right now?
