Finally had to post a review. This is such a great canon adjacent AU. Excellently written, great character makeovers, and new characters being introduced. Thank you for still continuing this storyline. I have thoroughly enjoyed the treatment of Bryce. Some of the funniest stuff I've read.

Well played my friend, well played. You did in effect get me. Everything was going so well too. The reception everyone was having a great time, Yuri was in heaven well he better be with his companions next to him. One thing though with so many operators in attendance I'm sure they are all armed at least I hope they are. With Graham and Beckman foiling Fulcrums plans for them hopefully Team B can return the favor to Teddy.

Well there goes the security deposit. Great chapter my friend. Thank you.

Wow, another chapter of extended happy glow! After all these years, they've earned it. And I really like how Chuck isn't making decisions based on his insecurities, and Sarah is communicating clearly with him. I also appreciated the multifaith celebration. And of *course* Zondra evaded Emma: no way in hell is Zondra missing out on the joy of being there when Molly open's Zondra's gift.

Aww, cuteness and joy all around!

I really liked the Mike/Jim conversation. Thoughtful, hopeful.

Yay, Green asked Chen out!

Damn. I'll admit, you got me. Yes, there was a part of me that was saying "this is too good to be true", all the wonderful wedding prep, friends and family gathering. But my willing suspension of disbelief won out and I was blissfully enjoying the festivities. I should have known better. Well played, sir. Well played. As surprising as that was, Fulcrum may think they have the upper hand, but this is still Team B and friends they have to contend with. I suspect Fulcrum will get more than they bargained for. So far with Beckman and Graham, respectively, things have not gone Fulcrum's way.

Wow! I figured a few things might go wrong, but a full scale assault on the Carmichael team?! That damn Roark!
This rehearsal dinner is PACKED with fighters so it won’t be an empty ballroom like in canon! I’m curious to see how you play this!
Thanks WG!

"You were worried about nothing." Why is it that the Bartowski women always thoughtlessly hand out those harbingers of catastrophe? In canon, Sarah quipped about, "just one more mission", and here Ellie's light-heartedly summoning doom. At least, Sarah unknowingly sets the motto of the day: "You should worry more."

It all begins as peacefully and happily as the finale of the most fantastic rom-com ever created as Willie Garvin lines up, lovingly introduced person by person, an all-star cast of New Day. Sweet references to canon sprinkled throughout - "She didn't unpack her suitcase the whole time she was staying with us".

And then Roarke-in-the-box pops out in the least desired moment, a man that has no scruples and no shame, even stealing Bryce Larkin's words - "Hey. Carmichael. Did you miss me?"

That's following canon's main plot twist, but it's much better. And it gets even better! Langston Graham never had a chance to develop in canon (much too soon gone Tony Todd regretted that very much), but he's a fully developed character in New Day with quite a spy past, and I can't say how much I enjoyed that he hasn't forgotten how to deal with a threat. That guy is awesome and you better have him in your friend camp. I was equally enchanted to see the Auburn Fox handle her challenge and a gun with no problems and no qualms. Yeah, she closes the chapter on the right tone - "Well, shit." Steaming, smelling, hitting the fan, but not a Casablanca-type fan, but a powerhouse turbine.

Well, Willie!

Roark always nuts, glad they survived to live another day. Multi national whooping coming

OK, then. You were really setting up a very nice rehearsal dinner/celebration/party. And Sadie Moore had worked so hard to get everything just right. Too bad the Keystone Kops, better known as FULCRUM, had to show up. Talk about pooping in the punch bowl. Chevy Chase really makes me angry. I was looking forward to Team B and company whooping it up. All is not lost, so maybe they can still whoop it up after they open up a can of whoop ass on the wedding crashers. We'll have to wait and see. Please, please let Sadie kick Roark in the nuts. She deserves that much, at least. lol.

Nice to see Graham and Beckman being complete badasses and taking care of their business. After all of the hurt brought down on FULCRUM already, how could they still believe that they had the upper hand. Talk about blindly arrogant. Sheesh.

I actually feel sorry for the tattered remnants of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players. No, that's a lie. They have no idea what they've just walked into. As the saying goes, "the beatings will continue until their morale improves." Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for sharing, my friend.

P.S. Please have a scene where the babysitters complain about the hell that gang of tykes put them through. If they only knew. lol.

I guess you had enough fluff and heartwarming and just wanted to set us up for this big time surprise turn of events. I didn’t expect to see Roark and the gang and especially at the wedding rehearsal dinner. I think you one-upped canon with your version of a Roark who is not easy to kill.

I enjoyed Graham’s and Beckman’s escapes from assassins showcasing that they still got some skills!

Very dramatic reveal scene, but the explanation of the whole process was believable... except for the soda bottle. I wandered off to google that because I was slightly incredulous. Learned some fun stuff. Thanks!

Daphne Peralta was the bulky figure? What, was she wrapped in a lot of winter coats?

Now I'm really interested in seeing how Daphne did it. And yeah, her husband is not so much of a hero anymore. Wow, what a mess. Great writing, but the situation is a mess.
