Enjoyable chapter, I liked how you incorporated 'Carmichael' and how you AU'd the episode, now you have named him 'Special Agent' which is cool but for a while now that has always been a burning question for me regarding canon, if Sarah Walker was a top agent why was she always known as 'Agent Walker' shouldn't she have been known as 'Special Agent' like Shaw, maybe I have to look at how you become a special agent on the CIA website, not necessarily how long and experience in the job, trivial question I know.

Somehow I missed this chapter. Really good stuff here. Too bad about the hotel, but it's good to see Casey taking Chuck a bit more seriously.

Nice revision of the scene, more skill and heroism this time. Loved Sarah the Mama Bear, taking down the other woman. Probably a brunette, too. It occurred to me that once Chuck determined the men's room was empty he should have stayed there, out of harm's way, but that would have negated the rest of it.

Yes please, more of this. Chuck appropriately scared but not simpering. Casey brusque and business like but not cruel or patronising. Sarah concerned and feeling but not smothering.
The second bomb was exceedingly well done, gave Chuck the opportunity to show his value above and beyond the "Data", Chuck saves Casey, Sarah saves Chuck and Casey, Chuck saves everyone. Canon gets its nod. Casey does what every good leader would do - listen to and acknowledge good ideas from whatever source.
This tack will miss out on a lot of the hand wringing around the WTWT and that is an incredibly good thing:-)

I have to say that I loved this chapter as much as the first and I think I am going to love the next chapter just as much or even more but I do realize now that I have to pace myself since you don't have many available yet so I will wait to read the next one until the following chapter is out that I will read the next one. I'm digging the logical conclusion tofinding Andric (I always wondered why it was never followed up in the show or at least the final episodes that were supposed to be a "love letter" to the fans ...Ugh.) I also appreciate Casey's thought at this point which is the real Walker. That was a really cool twist on the 1st episode...nicely done. Thanks for writing.

I’m really enjoying this story and the approach you’ve taken, especially with the Chuck and Sarah relationship. It’s a great new take on it and one that I really like. You’ve also done a nice job interlacing the action/spy plots as well without overdoing it. I always like it when authors take the approach that Chuck and Sarah are a couple that fall in love and just happen to be spies rather that spies that fall in love. It may sound like a small difference but to me it’s huge and significantly impacts the dynamic of the characters and the story as a whole. As a result, I prefer when the action/spy plots are used as supplemental plot devices with the purpose of advancing and reinforcing the Chuck and Sarah dynamic. I think you’ve started out doing this very well, so keep up the great work.

Another fun chapter. I like how you reworked the bomb disarming scene from the pilot. The ending where she kissed him kinda reminded me of Season 4's "Versus the A-Team" after Chuck disarmed the nuke using fruit juice. Top stuff and I look forward to seeing more of this one in the future!
