Aw, that was a cute story.
From what I heard is that Coco met Julio at the plaza, so he had to give up music once he met Imelda.
There is something I have noticed about the intro when Miguel says "then her grand-kids got booked in" there were not two but Three kids (two girls and a boy) we know that the two girls are Victoria and Elena when they were little.
But who is the boy? Could it be possible that he was Rosita's son and it was possible she got married (since the desk clerk addressed her as Senora which means a woman who is married when he finds a rose petal on her dress).
Anyway, that was a cute story.

Aaaahh this was really good! I love reading about how Imelda may have taken Héctor back, and you've done it well. I can believe she beat herself up for a bit, it was her fault he was so ill off. Staying up all night with him, telling stories about Coco...that just got to me. I love them so much.
That last line was absolute PERFECTION.
