Wow, this is so good and so dark. I couldn't tell exactly which characters these were supposed to be, or if they were supposed to be specific characters at all, which made me like it even more. I couldn't tell exactly what the mother was planning with that knife, so that ending really packed a punch. Wonderful work, and very effective for its brevity.
