It's doesn't change what a really greedy, selfish, and mean character Nabiki really is. She only cares about her own well being and willingly take advantage of Ranma and her sister Akane just to get herself further in life. Money means more to her than family or love. I would not be delusional about her real character. Ranma would be a fool to fall for her shallow character.
