Well written story. You refer to Koenig's command style was dictatorial, don't agree, he often consulted his section heads before making any decisions. Sounds more of a mutiny from some of the alphans. But it is just a story and a great take on Space Brain. Well done.

Not quite certain what Koenig's "knee jerk reaction" was. He did everything he could to get them past "the brain", even hooked himself to Kelly and the intelligence, to see what - if anything - could be done. However, this was a nicely written story with an interesting POV. Just hope Victor's mechanical heart can handle the strain of command … Koenig can tell him - it isn't easy!

Enjoyable to say the least! Extra special for me because of my obvious bias, but I do love these little conundrums you imagine for our Alpha friends. They are well thought out, true to character and good enough to read more than once because of the little gems a reader can discover upon re-reading. Well done and keep them coming.
