‘I’m with you til the end of the line, pal.’ -Bucky Barnes. ‘He remembered you.’- Brock Rumlow. ‘If you tell me to look on the bright side, I’m gonna hit you on the head with a peanut butter sandwich.’ - Natasha Romanoff. ‘Don’t give me hope.’ -Clint Barton. ‘When you can do the things I can, and you... don’t, then ... bad things happen. They happen because of you.’ -Peter Parker. RIP Stan Lee.

Hey man, thanks for this short and wonderful one off. When I heard about the loss of Stan 'The Man' Lee I felt that the world had indeed become a REAL lesser place. However as his late partner Jack Kirby once wrote: "Life...like comics...is often bittersweet."
I had the pleasure of meeting Stan Lee once at a comic convention when he visited my home town Melbourne Australia. If I could describe him...I'd say he was...'uncomplicated' a simple and straight forward king of guy.
When I met him after a whole day of waiting in lines to get autograph tokens and then his autograph I said to him: "Stan my man...you're a heck of a guy to get a hold of, you know that?"
He smiled and said to me: "What are you talking about I've up and about since 9 o'clock this morning where have you been?"
I said: "I've been in LINE since 9 o'clock this morning to find you."
He chuckled finding that real funny and said: "Well in that case I'll spell my name correctly for you."
He did too bless him!
After that I told myself WHEN he owns no more to the world I'd write a fanfic based on the Captain America movie from an OC's POV. Looks like I have work to do now. Thanks for this...see you...OUT THERE!
PS: I secretly believe when people like Stan leave this world, they're given a chance to go to a place where they can actually BE with their creations. It might just be like how the world is now except his creations are an actual physical PART of it, I mean he seemed to cherish the cameo's he made in all the Marvel films actually TALKING (no matter how briefly) to Spider-Man and other people. Here's to you Stan!

I was just watching the old Spider-Man episode where he met Stan Lee before I found out the bad news.
