Things are too deep for only three teenage girls. It's clear that Snape is an ally. (and to an extent Dumbledore, as well), but how many more will there be? They have to deal with 3 personifications of Voldemort (as far as everyone knows) If Voldemort was a threat in the books, he's (they?) is virtually untouchable here.

Harriet's friends and allies come through for her. That is as it should be, she is a child and reacted as a child and her friends helped to make things right. It is good to see the world work as it should on occasion, even when it is very broken.

Great chapters! I loved Elara's calm demeanour in 46 and Severus is, as usual, amazing. I can't wait to see what happens next!

If only Severus could have gotten there sooner, he may not have needed to clean up such a mess. I wonder where Harriet will be forced to go now. Back to her relatives? I would hope not. Maybe she can get emancipated like Elara.

An interesting chapter, the confusion of Legilimency does leave me wondering what Snape actually got, beyond Harriet was abused and left before school started and hasn't been back since. As regards Harriet running off and leaving her possessions behind, I was glad to see that. She was acting like a child, authors who make 11 and 12 year old versions of Harry Potter act like they are 11 and 12 are very rare and I am glad when I find one.
