I read this entire story in one sitting and I am glad I did. It was a very cozy and warm story. You have done an excellent job of interweaving so many emotions into this. Love and Pride from the new parents, Pain and grief from Daisy and Anson and finally love all around.
I was also amazed that you actually made Callie a primary character here with Frank being in the passenger seat for once. She was not whiny and scared but determined and a doer. She had a positive attitude and a generous heart. She took the time to find out about the people who showed them such hospitality and decided to make place for them in their hearts.
Also, the setting was so biblical. Spending the night in a barn with farm animals.

So glad to finally get a chance to finish this story! It was lovely, as I knew it would be from the first two chapters. Harry the escape-artist lamb gave me more than one chuckle. I'm glad Daisy's pain and bitterness was finally assuaged, and am happy for Frank and Callie and Eva making such a lovely little family.

What a delightful read. I am sad it is over. Here's my two cents- It was def very much in season and I love what you have done here. Daily and Anson's back story broke my heart and I felt bad for them, but Callie the mini detective found a way to bring joy in their lives. Just shows what a small act of kindness can do for all parties involved.
Wish you would continue this series...though. I know I am being greedy-hehe!
