this smells of bullshit really hard, from pointing out that these "defenders of humanity" are said to "have a soul" which implies that thunder warriors, space marines, custodes, primaris marines and primarch do not have a soul, all millions if not billions of imperium finest super soldiers and Emperor's own bodyguards and sons are soulless which makes them all pariahs or invisible to the deamons which is is complete bullshit. then there is the part when emperor decided to come in person to defend some shitty Japanese destroyer just because it feared itself shitless; not send legion of the damned, not guide a torpedo or a bomb, or a shell to precisely hit the critical point of the enemy vessel leading to instant death; and not manipulate the thought process of the ship to stick to a certain strategy which wold lead to survival of the ship, he could at the very least take control of the body of the ship for a time to lead it to safety.
