Oh wow, I just...wow
I'm speechless. For a one-shot, you, dear author, managed to explain the politics of power and portray it so brilliantly. And the characters, mmmmmm, I am loving the personalities you gave to everyone. Great job

Thank you so much for this wonderful work. I absolutely adore it! What a wild ride of emotion with the two beating the ever living shit out of each other and then coming back around for some nice playful fluff. And great plot twist! After the second time of seeing the waiter I was thinking “hold up—he’s gonna be important somehow.” Then out of all of this I think the most well-written moments are when you pulled back that detail of Alfred’s watch being 10 minutes late and the final conversation Ivan and Al had together; the way the conversation flowed felt so natural and when Ivan sobered up in a snap at Al’s comment about being together for nothing it... wow it just kinda hit me too like I was in Ivan’s shoes.
I’m going to keep this close to my heart. Thank you so, so much. 3

I don't know where you learned to balance humor and suspense so damn well, but I need to take lessons. Your writing has always been clever, and this was no exception. The tension between Alfred and Ivan that built up before the fistfight was so perfectly constructed, and all the while, I was busy laughing at your jokes and getting increasingly suspicious of the "servant". To be honest, the only reason I was suspicious at all was because I read the previous review beforehand - so almost immediately after he appeared, I went down a list of characters and concluded by process of elimination that it could only be one person.
Overall, solid plot! Especially with the ending - realistic for their circumstances but still satisfying.
P.S. Hey, if they do ever make that cloning machine for "Servant Dude", could I get a copy of him, please? :3

Heheheh
I guessed the 'servant's' identity before you revealed it.
Just those two dorks being somewhat violent dorks
Usually in Cardverse, the courts stick to their own kingdoms, but not this one - the second versh I've seen of this ship in this AU. Kudos.
