I was seriously worried after you didn't post the Loveless story you'd said you would post on/after New Year. I thought we'd never see it. Buy yay, it's here!
I agree with the other commentator. The style this is written in is really somewhat poetic and pensive. And what was Soubi thinking deciding to just pass by Ritsuka's house without even saying hi to him? Like what the hell, Soubi, you have been gone for a few years and you're just going to run off on the love of your life like that?
I'm glad everything turned out well in the end. Ritsuka was right. Soubi should have been there.

That was an interesting one shot, I liked the repeating linesYou should be here...' It just brought sort of a melancholic, poetic feeling to the story. I liked the ending with the kid's and Ritsuka's conversation in the tree house. And it's surprising at what kind of deep words can a child utter, that part was really sweet and when you think about, kids are very insightful. And yay, for Soubi's coming back, the scene with the black umbrella was kawaii, for some reason. Anyway, thank you! And congratulations on your engagement.
