Very interesting piece, plenty of content, and fairly addictive! That you were disturbed writing the earlier scenes shows how immersed you must become in your writing - and it really pays off, makes the story easy to sink into and visualise. With it being one (very) long chapter there wasn't a natural stopping point, so naturally was hooked into the whole thing at once! Nice work, you should definitely write more for the fandom :)

Thank for this wonderful story. It has been so long since there was been a complex, in character Clannibal fic that has made remember why I love them so much. You write with such complete and total control of Hannibal's mind palace I am envious. I love how you took what little character there was of his father and developed it and had it Hannibal use it for his own self discovery. Please write more Clannibal in the future. We could use you here.
Also just as a note, you are a masterful writer. I hope you have plans to write original fiction as well someday.
