If I could put an emoji here, just know it would the wounded, tear filled-eye one, asking you WHY once more. Loved the twist at the end, despite the punch to the gut of the same herbals she gave her father in "his last days."

This is incredible. One of the saddest works I've ever read, yet also one of the happiest. You've captured Christine's and Erik's characters beautifully and managed to spin a tale in which they end up together with impressive realism. This is how it would go! Absolutely stunning.
