Wow, I was at the edge of my seat the whole chapter. So much tension! I have no idea what to expect from the reunion except a really angry Kuro (which I always love). I’m really excited to see what Reed is up to as well.
I love how you write Kuro’s conflicting feelings about Fai, ‘cus I feel exactly the same xD

Such a good chapter. Really dark and sad, but it made Fai’s mind and character so real! I think it’s my favorite chapter so far (although I seem to think that for every chapter). Can’t wait to read Kuros POV after the break-up, and happy to hear it’s not gonna be easy for them ψ()ψ

So much to digest. His inner dialogue alone is exhausting. I don't know how he could possibly have a normal relationship with anyone, which is...likely why he doesn't. Merely answering the question of what he does for a living is hazardous to his health.
Listening to him contemplate what kind of a drug lord he is was rather amusing. Friendly neighborhood dealer... lol.
Fate WOULD command that the dude was a cop. And be the one to find him. But hey, he had a legitimate excuse. And a genuine love for his father. And a lot of hard memories left to unpack. Whether or not he will do such with Kuro...is still a guess where I'm concerned.

The beauty of reading something like this, is that it humanizes a certain "type" of person who normally sits in some kind of box. In real life, we assume drug lords must fit one dreadfully evil profile.
And while it's not a line of work I would want to be in or approve of, this is a reminder that those in that line of work are more than that. They're not just a drug lord. They're not just out to kill people, like he didn't want to give tainted product to customers.
People are much more complex creatures than we give them credit for. We are all human, after all.
