I am writing this review at chapter 52.
I love reading this. I have been reading this for the past 4 days almost all the time. With that being said, while Draco is having an improvement arc which goes nicely with his original character, I think Hermione is very ooc here.
I get it, desperation makes people do several things. But at the same time, even under dire circumstances, Hermione had her intelligence above all. While this single mother raising a child away from the father and then the father realizing his mistake and eventually redeeming himself, with a happy reunion is an amazing trope, it is also a cliche.
When Hermione found out she was pregnant, I was hoping it does not take this turn.
This story is still interesting and I am loving Draco's arc but Hermione just doesnot sit right.
She has been called the brightest witch of her age, and she has not made an intellectual decision after the 1st trial of Lucias.
I believe, in character, Hermione would definitely not run to America, and instead choose to stay and fight for everyone. The whole wizarding world.
It does not even fit that she did not even think about her parents and left them without any thought after such progress with them.
Yes I get it, she got a kid now. But all her ambitions and goals, they just disintegrated.
Again, I am still loving your writing. Hermione's character arc just does not stick with me. Just friendly criticism.

Standing ovation from San Diego! It was an EXTRAORDINARY fic! You thought it thru all the way. The themes are deep and true and sophisticated. The characters are realistic and fully fleshed out. Very clever plot twists. A mature take on a realistic premise - who are we, and who is the world, when our hero dies? Yes, that is the question we all face daily, although generally far less consciously. Very ambitious and impressive story arc. It fits beautifully into canon and amplifies the most poignant aspects of HP - magic etc. Super rich with deep magic and its ramifications for good and evil. An absolute triumph. I would be SO proud of writing even one of these chapters. I shall now read everything else you’ve written. Thank you for sharing your tremendous talent! (Allusions intended!)

I was in so sucked into this story I couldn't put it down from start to finish (also the Katie/ Marcus companion piece was, sigh, chef's kiss)
The world you built was beautiful, the angst had my stomach twisted and my breath held the entire time. You made me love and hate characters, there wasn't anyone who I was left feeling neutral about and just shrugged off.
The betrayal, I honestly thought it was possible and then dismissed it just for it to happen in the end had me in tears!
The corruption of the ministry post war made so much more sense, and just sigh.
Your entire story was perfect and I'm so glad you finished it even with the hard personal journey you went through to get here.

Great storytelling! This is a massive story and I’m happy I got to read it. I especially loved the first part of the story, all the games and the banter between DH. The plot was really well thought out as well. I felt the third part was a tad too long but then again, I was rushing to get to the good part, as I could not stop reading.
