Actually, I have never seen that exact plot. I've seen Molly potioning everyone to the point it's fanon (fanfic canon), but not that it gets revealed after her death and the plot reveal via her notes.
I'm sorry you are thinking of this as a one-shot, as it is a very intriguing lead in to what could be an interesting story I would love to read.

As much as I'd like you to continue this - I'm a sucker for time-travel and fix-it stories (I blame depression) your other work is more unique and good, so I want to see that continued more.
If you come back to this great! But there are so many time-travels, it wouldn't surprise me if you never did.
Although, most are body-overwrites, rather than physical transference, so it'd be a bit non-standard.
Regardless, good little one-shot, you cover enough of the story to be clear on where it's going and bring it to a form of conclusion while leaving interpretation open.

I think the molly potioning coming out with her death is unique, the damage stuff has been done a couple of times, but could be nicely explored in a fresh way. I love time travel fics and this has real potential. I think a step to the right is also very good and was pleased to see another chapter. I think you're on to some winners here.

Molly-bashing...but with both Ginny and Ron not bashed and horrified about it. Great. Nice one-shot. A shame it isn't a longer story. Maybe it's because I've been playing too much of said game, but this reminds me quite a bit of "Fate/Grand Order".
