Oh dear, I was not expecting that! I do hope Marilla will pull through...and hello, Gilbert there to save the day. I am so glad you had her call him Gil - as if during her moment of strife she forgot about the past and sought comfort and advice from her true best friend (and later to discover, soulmate).
