Churnok: Unfortunately, the author's fanfics are almost entirely bland cookie-cutter intros that he has no intention of expanding on. This has proven no exception; five whole months later and nothing. If only I'd known that before leaving my earlier (enthusiastic) review.
To you future fanfic writers out there: deceiving your readers is never a good idea.

To be honest this feels like the story equivalent of condensed soup. Possibly cream of mushroom. The basic ingredients are there. But more needs to be added before it's ready for consumption.
Perhaps it's because I've read the comic book. Or perhaps it's because I've watched the cartoon. Your addition of the word Aligned to the title might also have something to do with it. But I expected more. Some development of the story beyond the basics common to both the comic and cartoon. At the very least, I expected some hint as to the reason for your title.
I suppose it's too large to serve as a summary on this site. And might serve as a summary on a DVD set. But as a prologue I find it lacking. I've gotten more information from the back of a young adult novel.
