Great short story. Nice job. Only criticism is harry letting Ron back in his life. I was disappointed jKR let them kiss and make up (LOL didn't rally mean a pun here). After feeling such a betrayal by Ron I would have beat him to a pulp, not let him back. With that said very nice job. Story moved right along. Best for your writing.

but of course, Malfoy as always gets away with interfering with the task and trying to intentionally get a champion killed without consequence. Think to how fans at sporting events who shine laser pointers at players are treated, or fans who throw stuff at players.
They're removed and banned at least, if not arrested. Malfoy casts a fucking spell to wake the dragon up and yells about it proudly, and he doesn't face ANY punishment.
The story is decent, but that part just pisses me off enough to distract me from the good parts.
