It was great! Almost every one hates the Canon Mein but your's is really likeable. Its also a great show of how to Explore even the leaat liked character. Great job keep it up cant wait for another chapter.

Hmm... Mein will need a handmaid, and to corrupt the Shield Hero into accepting Slavery...
They will also need a wagon and a Filolial...
Perfect way to get Raphtalia and Filo into the story if you want. But for crying out loud give Raphtalia a spear instead of a Sword, or have her half-blade a sword as it is supposed to be. A spear is best as it allows her to utilize her speed and strength far better. A swordsman has to be three times better skilled than a spearman to win so give Raphtalia a superior weapon to the sword.

On the bright side, at least she unknowingly saved herself from getting paired with fatuby-man.
I wonder, is fatuby-man not as shit of a person as he was in the WN? You'd think she'd try to avoid that option if he was, considering she isn't just a robot that operates on cold logic.
Even still, mein meeting up with her sister will be awkward~

Hmm...This is a pretty interesting story. Though I can see why people are weird out by the AU Itsuki even if it is funny. Your story has decent humor and decent Grammar! This Malty is actually not a idiot!
On one hand Malty got a new ally (Pawn) but on the other hand yeah no free support from being royalty. Still that is a fked up decision by the Queen, I mean sure the decision could improve the country by getting lots of gold and military support but Malty was still only like a young kid...would laugh if Shield MC would get his Rage shield unlock from hearing that the Queen was actually planning to do that to Malty in the future lol. Really hope she lets Shield MC knows about the party system so he can get more EXP...though I feel a bit bad for raph...so unless events or stuff happens that force the slave dealer to met them it seems it going to be a interesting and bumpy adventure.
Hope to see more of this!

Not sure how we feel about Itsuki being a fanatical, insane version of Shirou Emiya right down to backstory details. But we know that whatever we're feeling is negative. Your portrayal feels rather lazy, perhaps even a bit insulting, to just make him crazy in the beginning and a misused reference to another character.
First part of this story we legitimately dislike so far.
We will be Watching.
-The Joining.
