Honestly bit disappointed in this story a bit, the whole point of a OC is how he changes canon its a fanfic and your character feels like he's there you have given proper headings for which time period your writing which just makes it confusing.
I mean you've could've done so much with tobys character taken him in many different ways, I liked the whole blind thing.
Just have your character more involved with your story. Don't be afraid to change the plot of a movie just a little bit to compensate for your character. Rey is not the main character of your story your Tobias Solo is so try to make him more involved in the story he kind of feels like a over glorified side character that you would care about only if he was killed of had a huge impact on the main character.
this story had so much potential and you destroyed it
