You know, I've read a lot of Clay!whump stories now, but this takes the cake. IF Clay survives (and I hope you don't plan to kill him off) the odds that he can return to being a Tier 1 operator are very, very slim. Almost to the point where the Navy would be more likely to give him a Medical than try to rehabilitate him to operational status. However, miracles do happen, I suppose.

I am really looking forward to how you continue this story. Having taken care of both my mother and father-in-law when they were in similar states to Clay (kidney failure, chest tubes, NG tubes, catherization, dialysis etc) I think you are doing a pretty good job of this. I'm not really sure Clay can survive all of this at one time but fanfic authors always come up with miracles.

Great chapter. Lovin’ this story. The whump is delicious as is the after care. I love that Clay has moments of lucidity where we get to see his pain and angst. Love that part. Well done!

Awww poor clay being so sick! Just regular post-op patients alone can get like that, let alone those that are that sick. Thankfully his brothers are there to take care of him. I’d love if you continue with the hurt! Keep it coming, love the medical details too :)
