As someone who enjoyed the space combat scenarious in the halo: fall of reach novel. I enjoyed reading this chapter. Wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but i like it and made me think of those instances.

Still loving the updates and cant wait for the next chapter. Hopefully someone will stage an intervention for Pyrrha. She knows she is snappping at Penny and honestly seems to be the only one she ever feels remorse for. Though as someone else pointed out the God of darkness seems to be acting more of a fatherly figure for his ,previously, two followers. Even somewhat toward Zaeed when he passed and they meet before Zaeed went on to whatever comes next. I keep an open mind on those things so meh. Whether Darkness shows the same concerns toward Garrus or not we will have to wait and see but considering the circumstances i think it is just a matter of time. Back to what i was getting at. Mordin and Darkness may see her as a ticking time bomb waiting to explode and are concerned that, and i do love quoting your writing for this line, Pyrrha will lose who she is. God this is a tangent. Sorry for making you read this if you do.

Pyrrha is slowly imploding, hopefully she deals with it and mends though.
Parental Darkness is an interesting sight to see, and his interaction feels different with that in mind. His disagreement with Pyrrha feels more like a exhausted father now than a god and his follower.

Darkness may have a grudge against Garrus for what he did to Pyrrha, but personally, I feel Shephard is more at fault, and maybe even Miranda. I’m not an adbocate of vengeance, but I do feel they still need to be held accountable.

I would honestly have to re read from either akuo's destruction forward or from Zaeed's death foreword (Sorry for spoilers if you are a new reader and havent got this far) but i feel like there was a subtle stages of grief sprinkled in to the story for Pyrrha and now i want to go back and see if it is just my imagination. If it isn't my imagination my question is what stage are we on because i think we are trapped in anger at the moment or skipped straight to it. This sounded a lot less convoluded in my head.

Wow, I never thought I would see a slightly Renegade Pyrrha.
Granted you did mention previously Shepard is Renegade. I guess that means we are in the Renegade Pyrrha playthrough. XD

So... I own one of the "World of RWBY" book was looking through it seeing the information on Pyrrha. It was minor but something that just I found interesting is the meaning behind Pyrrha's Milo and Akuo translate to to speak and listen. With akuo being destroyed it might be a symbolic meaning for Pyrrha's more dark shift especially after Zaeed's death. I may be wrong but just a interesting thing.

Shepherds actions just reinforce my absolute loathing of Renegade Shep due to them being a fucking bigoted power tripping asshat, 99% of their actions are just hostility for the sake of getting their way it's not for a greater good it's not even for the good of humanity even it's just "I want to do this, comply or die". The game does go out of its way to show that it causes issues and punishes it according with renegade actions generally leading to misery by the end of ME3 unless it's cut down by a couple of necessary Paragon actions. Either way this universe is doomed if a pure Renegade Shep is in charge of rallying the troops the amount of loses will make a victory into a no pun intended pyrrhic victory at best, sure Penny and Phyrra will make some changes but if everything relies in Shepherd's leadership like in canon they are doomed.
