I kind of fel bad for Kreacher. If Sirius's demise didn't effect him, Regalus' decades ago had to. And he's been alone since then. Atleast in his twisted way he's not bothered by Sirius' death(or he's sad his mistress' family line died out) and the Black sisters are keeping him company now. Unless they ditched him after they wheedled info out of him, I can see Bellatrix doing that

That was so sweet. I was thinking Sirius could floo Andromeda but I don't know if that can be done at Grimmauld. Even though Sirius does it with Harry in 4th year then Bella & Cissa use floo to talk to Kreacher(or do they summon him?). It should be an option as long as Andromeda's house isn't in danger of the wrong people coming in at any moment.
Another option can be a Tonks showing her memories of what Andromeda says in front of her, by using the basin for memories. And Tonks can do the same for what Sirius has to say to Andromeda. This would be a slower communication for Andromeda & Sirius than letters or floo. I want them to talk often so Sirius doesn't go stir crazy and things don't happen like they do in canon.
They can also send howlers through Tonks lol. Friendly howlers. I think Tonks should get Sirius dreamless potions, he has more than enough money to buy whatever he needs. Including potions for Remus. And a sizable donation to hte werewolves to get them from being swayed by Voldy

Well-written chapter. It's odd to me to imagine her Patronus changing to a full-on werewolf, as I don't think of those as creatures that would do what a Patronus needs to do (and it'd be odd for Snape to later quip that it looked 'weak'): I've always imagined it would be just a wolf. Still, though, nice little reveal, with it happening first in such a way that Tonks was able to grapple inwardly and reflect on it. I like the simplicity of the line, "She backed up, scared of her own creation."
