That was quite sad, but extremely well done. I completely agree with loving their platonic soulmate level friendship. I've had so much fun with them in the mcu. (tears cause no more). But super grateful for the moments we got.
I love more moments and takes on these two should you every decide to write more. I just watch the digital endgame. So obviously I want to start at the beginning and work my why through the mcu again. Introvert win :)

*Sniff* ohhh, I think you broke me. :( That was - really sad. I love Steve and Natasha’s close friendship too, and you definitely wrote it beautifully. Very poetic that she would be the one to hold him when he lost Peggy, and now he can return the favor. But ouch, ouch, their grief hurts - and you write that well too.
Thanks for sharing! If it does turn into a collection, absolutely count me in! And if it’s complete as is, then just know that it’s one of the best Steve/Nat friendship things I’ve found. Kudos to you, my friend.
