I enjoyed this chapter! I really liked the detail about Clay looking forward to the small things, the things that make him feel the most human. The team’s (and especially Jason’s) over-protectiveness is funny and adorable, but also sad because of how it is rooted in the trauma of coming so close to losing their brother. Thank you for the update, and I hope you and yours are staying safe!

LoL. I like that the title was “Just Dinner” but it was oooohhhhhh so much more than that! I love absolutely everything about this chapter! The mother henning is awesome and I love that you had Jason call in reinforcements/body guard's/surrogate motherhens while they are gone! Well done!

Great chapter! I loved that they had to switch to Trent being the person accompanying Clay to his appointments, LOL. Also loved the doctor keeping his mouth shut about the mother henning because he wanted to live. It’s good to see the progression of Clay’s recovery and the return of some of his old attitude, and his impatience is so in character. I liked his rapport with Michelle, particularly the part about him offering to teach her how to kick her ex’s ass rather than offering to do it himself. Looking forward to seeing where this story goes next! :)

I LOVED this chapter. Such a feel good story with Clay talking about his feelings with Trent and then the cute banter about the nurse. Michelle sure was right about Clay being unique and she is a lucky girl. This is just what Clay needed to occupy his mind as he finishes his recovery. Sure hope her ex doesn’t cause him any trouble.
