Oh, wow...didn't see that particular family to reunite with Hermione! And wtf is wrong with the Grangers? Dropped the façade rather quickly. I'm shocked L actually paid them to leave, but I suppose that was his way of honoring his promise to Hermione. I wonder how the extreme differences in physical attributes can be explained, since she doesn't really look like a Black or a Malfoy. Is there some sort of glamour? How was Hermione Granger put into the Hogwarts registry when she was born when there was no such person at the time? And I think Ron and Harry are going to lose their collective shit over the fact that Hermione is actually a Malfoy! Is she going to lose everyone who detests all things Slytherin and/or Malfoy? I'm glad she's got Draco to protect her (and the rest of the Slytherins) bc I think she's really going to need it!

Another great chapter! I was heartbroken by the way Hermione’s parents reacted to losing her. No child should have to deal with that. Also, still very annoyed with Harry. I’m going to need him to pull his head out of his arse.

great start. I expected Ron to be cold, but shame on Harry.

Does this mean that Hermione is blonde like her family? I didn't see that twist happening with the Malfoys being the ones looking for Celeste. I enjoyed reading this story.

Oh that sucks. But hey, it completely clears the way for her Malfoy family.

Ooo I find this story and subject very interesting. Is it bad that I kinda hope that food eventually fights Ron back? XD

Interesting, Narcissa’s thoughts made me I wonder if Lucius joined the Death Eaters in an effort to find Celeste, maybe Riddle promised him results?.
The Grangers were cold and so nonchalant about buying a baby. Now that they are out of the way the Malfoys will have uninterrupted time with her.
Ron’s behavior was in line with how he comported himself in canon.
Can’t wait to read more.
Thanks

wow. i... I don't think I've seen a version of the Granger 's so cold. Like usually a "Granger-bash" could be seen be as reasonable from looking at it from a different angle, either being like "this place is dangerous your LEAVING" or "you need to go to a REAL school Hermione, something to help you get a job in n the future" not "we bought a kid because a kid was trendy at the time"

“The Face on the Milk Carton” was one of my favorite series when I was a kid, so this story naturally tugs at my heart strings. For some reason, during the first chapter I assumed Hermione would be Theo’s sister, but I guess the Malfoys make sense...although, why does she look so different from them? Did whoever imperiused the squib to kidnap her somehow charm her to have a different appearance? And as for Lucius, Hermione did bring up that she spent a large part of her second year petrified by a basilisk, but I hope she brings up more clearly that that ONLY HAPPENED because Lucius had a grudge against Arthur Weasley, tried to get him fired, and didn’t care that muggle-born children would be hurt or even killed in the process. Because while Dumbledore makes it clear to Harry that Lucius didn’t know the diary was a horcrux, he DID know that it was dark magic given to him by the Dark Lord and that it was a weapon against Muggle-borns. So he could have very easily murdered his own daughter if he hadn’t had a mirror with her. And she should also make it clear that obviously the pureblood/Muggle-born thing is bull short because obviously Slytherin’s Monster has no clue she was a pureblood!
As for Harry:
“He pulled out parchment and wrote Sirius about everything happening, mentioning briefly he sometimes wished he could talk his godfather directly. In the end he felt better, though no closer to a solution. He woke Hedwig and sent the letter before he could talk himself out of it.”
Hermione hit the nail on the head when she told him exactly what he was going to do, seeing as he’d done it many times before...but I’m really hoping that because he wrote to Sirius of all people, he’ll come around. After Pettigrew, Sirius of all people knows things importance of loyalty to your friends. He would NOT like a friend who is disloyal and betrays his godson (basically: Ron) and he would probably not like Harry to do the betraying himself. Besides, Sirius knows what it’s like to have dark parents with racist views. He wouldn’t hate Hermione for something she can’t help.
