hi there, I’m one of many now who are searching back through all of the fanfic to find solace for our hearts on the wake of the finale-that-shall-not-be-named.
I also ready your season 7 story and I love it too — but I think I love this one more. You’ve got a lot of ideas here that no one else has used. Some of my favorite moments:
—Allie and the party dress and E and R helping her
—Allie escaping from E and going up the tree and Nathan discovering this
—the porch rail
—Nathan’s heroics with the abusive father and the gunslingers
—the incredible accident with Jack and the even more incredible rescue in which ALLIE all of peolple saved the day! My was was so wrapped up in this part of the story my skin tingled! AMAZING RESCUE!
So now here I am to say THANK YOU for this wonderful story and to ask you if you’d consider writing something g new for us all? You know these characters so well... would you do a finale rewrite or a season 8 rewrite or a moving on story? ... Much love...

This was a great chapter! So refreshing to read a slightly deeper side of
Nathan’s character. His self sacrificial side and to give a context to his awkwardness...hoping Elizabeth can see past his quietness and begin to show her feelings also. So far I’m really enjoying your story. It feels more real. Although I admit I enjoy these stories for the romance. it’s refreshing to read a story with real human traits! Not the picture perfect hallmark people all’s the time! Thank you!

I came across your name and two WCTH books today. This one was great. I was so engrossed in it, I put off some tasks I had intended to do this evening. I really love your story! I had so many laughs and some tears. I loved the interaction between Nathan and Lucas, and I am so glad they were becoming friends-and having each other’s backs. I like the pairing of Lucas and Fiona. I was crying through all of Little Jack being in the mine shaft, and I loved how you redeemed Henry! It kept me reading to see how things were going to keep unfolding! Keep up the good work!

Loved this story! You really have a wonderful grasp on the characters personalities. The Lucas & Fiona storyline was lovely. Rosemary being pregnant was something I hope to see in WCTH season 8. And I’m definitely team Nathan so absolutely loved the budding romance with Nathan & Elizabeth! Also loved the excitement of the rescue of little Jack! Having Allie go in to save him was awesome! Can’t wait to to read more of your stories! You are so talented at writing! Don’t keep us waiting!

I love your vision for Henry Gowen! He has had so many good moments in which he has reached out to help others that it would be nice for him to find redemption and a true home in Hope Valley! I also love that Allie’s skills at tree climbing were put to use to save her ‘little brother’ and that both Allie and Nathan knew what they had to do, did it straightforwardly with no drama... showing their natural, loving, protective instincts! And I loved in chapter 29 that Elizabeth finally realized that she and Jack needed Nathan and Allie as much as they needed her! (I think she already knew this in her heart; but she has now allowed herself to see this consciously!) Bravo for a beautiful story! I personally would love to see your Season 8 before Season 8

Loved it loved it loved it! The scene with Henry being wanted back my the town was beautiful. I admit after season 1 I wanted him gone, but quite glad now the writers decided to keep him in the story! I guess its a picture of not knowing or understanding what is going on when God works too :) Also drumroll for Abigail returning! YAY! Great ending to cliffhanger the season on. Really enjoyed your writing :)

Now you're making me cry :) Wow. I love the whole thing about it coming full circle, you tied in the start of the series nicely here. This part is my favourite: "It feels like...it feels like there's been a plan all along. I don't understand all of it, but it feels like God is showing me snippets of His plan and it's bringing me great comfort and acceptance to feel His hand guiding my life." This speaks to me in regards to something I'm going through in my personal life. Nothing as dramatic as what Elizabeth has been going to, but it's something quite important to me all the same. Thank you for writing this story!
