Cookie’s back from the dead so I guess I can come back too for a little while.
Ah, yes. ChromxTharja. Truly we’ve entered Cookie’s domain.
Chrom? Attempting poetry? That’s...
And Erudite’s favorite Awakening pairing gets a mention as well. Nice touch.
You know, I re-watched Joker (for the tenth time) before reading this. Quite a jarring shift.
Ah, I missed this. Just light hearted fun, very different from what I’ve been doing. I wrote an economic and legal analysis, and now I’m writing a theological essay as my first professional publication. I also recently wrote a one shot about life in Nuvelle after Dagda and Briggid ravaged it. Not sure if I’ll publish it though. Doesn’t involve any main characters. Just a minor boss from Verdant Wind I decided to give a little backstory to.

A GOODBYE FIC YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE wait I take that back
Good choice on a pairing! The world needs more TharjaxChrom, and they really are one of my favourite pairings now. It's just a weird dynamic that I honestly think works well when done right. That being said, let's see how this fic goes as we analyze it!
What rhymes with graceful... face-full?
Little would we know that Chrom being like a dog is somehow foreshadowing
A lot of words rhyme with graceful? Uh... Baseball?
No mention of Chrom's last canon support, Maribelle?! How sad!
Robin, you're a terrible tactician. Obviously your cavalry report should have been the first topic of conversation! Chrom's love life isn't that important compared to millions of lives! Chrom, fire this loser
Well, considering baking pies love in FE13, Chrom's line of reasoning for falling in love with Tharja could be a lot worse actually
Yeah, Robin, what rhymes with graceful? Er... uh... mace bowl?
We all knew Anna was gonna be Robin's wife of choice! RobinxAnna is basically your Number 2 OTP!
Wow, it took me three read-throughs before I actually understood your joke about the feathers and down
"Robin tackled Chrom." These three words were what caused me to burst out laughing when I read through this fic the first and second time. It's such a short statement, but it came out of nowhere, even though I really should have expected it. By far my favourite part of this fic!
I doubt this is what's supposed to happen, but when I read about Tharja dragging Chrom, I envision him still lying on the ground as she's dragging him
Noises? Obviously they're discussing poetry with each other!
I wonder what Robin envisioned when he contemplated the worst thing Tharja could be doing to him
...okay, that wasn't what I expected.
Wow, Tharja's kinky. Or Chrom's kinky. Or both of them are kinky. I'm... ASSUMING that Tharja is actually doing something to pleasure Chrom somehow, but Robin's brain-bleach is making it tough for me to judge
We will also never know (or WANT to know) what Tharja gagged Chrom with
Who knew that I would be reading a fic specifically for my goodbye from Fanfiction? Wow, it HAS been many years, hasn't it? Was it seven years we've been friends on this site? That's a long time! I'm so happy I was able to influence you so positively in the last few years. You've helped me in a lot of ways too. It's been an honour writing with you!
I can tell that you had fun writing this fic! I bet you were churning your brain for a while on how to handle this story, and it certainly showed itself here. Hopefully Chrom and Tharja live happily ever after, and Robin was able to forget everything he saw. Thank you so much for this sendoff Cormag, and you know that I'm going to write a fic for you when you retire too! Hopefully that still won't be for a while, though!
At the end of it all, I actually had to Google words that rhyme with graceful. First word I saw was gleeful. Yeah, that's definitely better than the other ones I came up.
10/10 Woo hoo!

I think that this one-shot Is Interesting and amazing.
I hope that you will write more Chrom/Tharja stories they are one of my favorite Fire Emblem Couples.

A tribute that is definitely worthy of Cookie. I have to admit, he really made this pairing believable to me. Anyone who knows me well enough knows I'm still a stickler for working within the boundaries of canon, so to make me into even a semi-supporter of this pairing is quite the accomplishment.
Sadly, I never got to know Cookie as well. I did read some of his works, and he did read some of mine. We also exchanged a few PM's too. But I did know his name from my first days here, and I'm glad to have met him even in the slightest. As you said, the fandom is losing a big name, and sadly, it's not been the first such loss. But for the time I've known him, it's been a pleasure. I'm glad he encouraged you to keep sharing your gift with the world. Seeing what you've produced, it would have been a shame if you'd not had someone to cheer you on, and I can definitely understand that. I'm glad you found someone like that. It seems we all owe a lot to Cookie in one way or another.
This was an excellent tribute to him. It's lighthearted, it's funny, it's got me grinning from ear-to-ear, and also sympathizing with poor Robin after what he just witnessed. I've no doubt Cookie would love this one.
Well done.

It's been a while, but if Cookie's hanging up his hat it's best for ol' Gunlord ought to pass by to pay respects. He's been a very good friend to me as well, as you well know. And this is a nice, funny little story, a very good sendoff for someone like Cookie. I'm glad I read it, and I hope he likes it too-and I wish him and you the best in your travels!
