Ahhhh! I loved this! I loved how they just fell into conversation. I really liked the characterization of Winter. My favorite part was when Qrow was telling her about Tai's prank. I'm pretty sure he's *still* 80% leg.

Damn, haven't read a Qrowin story in a while, but when I do, I always enjoy them; yours isn't an exception, heh. Really did enjoy reading this first chapter.
Your take on how Qrow and Winter first met is quite different to how people portrayed; usually it involves Winter being quite tsundere and Qrow continuously annoying her. I don't mind that, but I like your take on their first meeting. More mellow between them and I like it.
Their interactions was nice too. Nothing romantic obviously, but it's a telltale sign that they'll be seeing each other a few more times in the future. Will be interesting to see how you'll progress them from now to how they are in the series. They really need to interact more in the series...
