Good. The only problem I had was the, to me, too quick transition from Remis being too devoted to Dumbldore to Remus imediately accepting Serius's unwilliness to trust Dumb with information about Harry. Yes, you dealt with it but Remu's imediate acceptance seemed less than belevable . Does Remis realy need to be at this first family meeting ? I'm not saying exclude him, I just found his inclusion a bit of a jolt shortly after his being deemed "too close" to Dumbl

Love iiittt. Found this in a recommendation list from another author. The new friendship surprised me but I love their dynamic. Haven't read the sequel as yet but I'm hoping poor Michael dates someone else for a bit at least. Let Susan grovel ... sigh maybe I'm being a bit salty but I was not impressed with her.

As a big Ron fan, I'm glad you're planning on improving him. At this point, he's such a bashed on character by so many fics, I hardly notice anymore. It's more along the lines of surprised delight when I read a fic that he's not bashed in. Really liking Michael and Astoria though. Looking forward to more.

First I hadn’t realized that in this story the dementors were still at Hogwarts even though there isn’t the lame excuse that they “know” Sirius so they’d actually focus on him. Plausible but still surprised me. Second although I agree that canon Dumbledore showed no signs of wanting to give Harry a good, well rounded education let alone prepare for war rather than just wing it every single time - this Dumbledore was beyond cold expressing his notion that scrambling amateurish preparation was for the greater good rather than thorough planning and education. Good job distilling one of the things people love to hate about Dumbledore.

There are 1000 different ways to talk to Sirius, why is he choosing the worst way to deal with this?! Insane. Letting Dumbles play with his mind, no self preservation at all; if he dies now then there is no one to kill Voldy, does he not realise that. Why would he exhaust himself to the point of having no energy

How even with all the love and caring does Harry turn into this caring for the greater good, too harsh on himself guy. I understand the character development in this, and there are reasons, but still it feels crazy to read this :)
