Rip Bugsy, should've just left town after Gary got the scepter, gonna pray he's not around when Morty comes for it and lands a clean steal bc ? you think a locked chest can stop magic? Think this through again king, otherwise maybe he can unlock some clutch mage skills in the heat of battle Many Fs for Lance, don't bully him he's just disabled. Maybe Edward can be ousted or forced to abdicate from public pressure idk what law they're working with. I really liked this chapter (16) though, you write rising tension and dramatic action well. I suspected something family related from the painting and Jacob (twilight?) didn't disappoint rip to meet your dad and he thinks you're a sad wuss wolf it's rough out here for Lance. Though speaking of him, there's more chemistry between him and Bruno atm than him with Lyra ngl "it's suddenly hard to speak with her" maybe if you weren't always supporting 90% of the conversation and she spoke more than a sentence in each reply even Ethan said more words to him idk how he's catching feelings from this her rizz is non existent I'm sorry Lyra you're serving minimum wage customer service grin she needs to get off duty

Hoping Clair & Lyra become genuine friends, girl you are so close to the point you're now property of Benga without your consent so what is Lyra to you? I feel her with the boring wedding ceremony though, she's going to learn dissociation soon to endure Benga. The long clothing descriptions and the Lance and Lyra scenes are a bit cliche I feel like the bath scene had a lot more chemistry, maybe if they spent more time talking amicably before the uncomfortable topics? A bigger timeskip before the wedding on the castle side wouldn't have hurt either to build some more offscreen interactions between both cousins and Lyra and between her and Ethan bc 14 chapters in there's still not much of a relationship between any of them, meanwhile Lance got like 5 tasks done including missions. My sense of time in this fic is a bit muddy, has it been a few weeks? A month or more considering wedding planning?

Okay yay! More pokemon mentions Lyra talking about her trauma, I seem to remember something about Clair doing a poisoning from the first time I read so looking forward to the chaos. I'm on a reread to actually finish this fic now that it's complete (been a while since Im usually on ao3 instead) and I wasn't going to review until the end but I checked the reviews out of curiosity and saw you got hit by the trolls so I guess Im going to flood the reviews with something more positive or at least actually constructive instead :)
I do agree with some of the previous reviews about the lack of everyday Pokemon mentions (took a while before a character ran into wild pokemon so I guess they're rare? And only on chp 8 is it mentioned what exact pokemon the wolves are) and that Lyra seems a bit too well adjusted(?) I would expect some trauma response or ptsd symptoms like nightmares or general paranoia from her mom and the other captives dying right in front of her, maybe she'll have a reaction if she comes across a wolf again? Honestly if her intro parts at the castle took up more space like an entire chapter or two I think itd feel less like she's just reacting to things and not getting much done compared to other characters. Besides that I do really like the worldbuilding and how different character perspectives clash and reveal plot details. I'm praying for Morty's downfall (go Eusine go!) and Lance is going to need to redeem himself after killing my girl Yellow. Hey, this is a really interesting fic I'm reading right now. I've only read the first chapter so far but I've got some praises. I don't really see a lot of Pokémon fanfics where they take characters and put them in different genres, so you can imagine my surprise reading this. Also, I've got a few questions, do Pokémon exist in this universe? Cause I'm seeing some references to real life animals and from what I have skimmed I haven't seen any mention of them, then again I did hear them talk about Arceus so I'm not quite sure. Also, the writings pretty good from what I'm reading like the bit with Agatha and her mom so far and how you described the bear's lifeless eyes is pretty cool tbh.

The concept of this story is definitely interesting, and for some reason, God knows why, I'm getting Skyrim vibes. I like how you describe things in this chapter with good detail without being over-bearing.
(Can't say I feel sorry for Ash in this chapter at all haha!)
However Lyra's behaviour through this chapter does confuse me a bit. She doesn't react much to things, especially in the cases of being exposed to corpses and all that. Even if she didn't know the people, I thought she would be at least a little sickened by the hanging at least. Just strikes me as odd, she doesn't seem very sympathetic towards anyone but herself.
But heck, this is one chapter, as long as she isn't passive like this in the rest of the story, I guess haha
