for Tainted Steel

The only reason in the Heavens Feel game Shirou never pushed his body of blades was because Rin constantly warned him against it. I have no problems with him actually focusing on becoming what he truly is. Afterall, an Apostle knows more about Reality Marbles than Rin ever would.

Would Gilgamesh even know Shirou is a Faker at this point? I don't think he would, since Gilgamesh only called Shirou "mongrel" up until he started copying the swords from the Gate of Babylon...and Shirou hasn't Projected anything in this story. Copied, yes, but Gilgamesh couldn't possibly know that.

I hope Arturia summons Kiritsugu. It would be ironically funny, not that I’m expecting that to happen. I think Shirou’s body of blades is super interesting. And with that only being the first line of his Aria, I can’t wait to see what else he’ll be able to do. It will also make him a lot more durable. Also, his body is made of swords, that doesn’t necessarily mean steel. There is this guy on YouTube who makes knives out of all sorts of materials. I can only assume the same can be done with swords. But, I’m getting away from my point, Shirou inherited some money from Kiritsugu, if he can get his hands on some unique metals and forge them into swords, potentially with alteration. He could alter his body in order to hit harder or take hits better. If he could turn his bones into titanium or change part of his body into lead in order to add more weight into a strike that would be awesome. Also he could layer himself, some swords have a harder steel for the blade and a softer steel for the core or dull edge of the sword in order to add strength but keep an edge. Shirou could do that to his body. Anyway, these are just suggestions and thoughts. Please keep up the the great work!

P.S. Arturia is going to be the most over powered master and servant combo ever, couldn’t she technically summon a version of herself. But, if everyone else summons the same servants, or summons a servant at the same time as canon then Arturia would only be able to summon Assassin, and that would create a situation where she would not like her servant, as they would be “unhonorable”.

Can You Please Make Taiga Into A Dead Apostle.

Missed the preview, oh well. Have to admit I do like this chapter. I liked Viv snapping at Artoria to correct her language for modern times... and oh how I sympathize with Taiga in terms of how reckless Shirou is being.

Now I’m stuck imagining her attacking a spiky metal monster with her kendo sword, only to find out it is Shirou. Cue the typical reaction: a dead faint.

you updated again! I cant believe it took me this long to realise, oh how exciting! at first I was like wait was that possible? then I remembered Heavens feel and thought about it some more and it makes sense. I do gotta say though im kinda alarmed at his mind set but on the other hand i'm also quite excited for it I kinda hope he becomes an Apostle in this. I do feel kinda bad for taiga though. I shall eagerly await the next chapter!

Hmm, if we're going by Canon then this Arturia is supposedly already experience the 4th and 5th war, not only 4th one.

This is such an interesting thing to watch! A sword, a sentient blade, a weapon and instrument with life, an existence with many purposes that can act by their own choice!

As I remember that technically the doctors use bladed instruments to operate and save the lives of humans and animals.
Some knives are using to carve objects
God, this is a new and awesome thing, It reminds me of Nrvnqsr Chaos but saner as Swords don't have an instinct or purpose apart what Shirou decided

Not a problem, but I'm worried about shirou. He may not be "Human" anymore, but if he continues on this path, he may be something far removed from anything he ever wished to be.

The title of this story is way more ominous now... gg

Is it wrong that I’m shipping Shirou and Sumire?

Oh jeez, master Arturia. Somehow, I hadn't even considered that. Amusing thought, what if she got Archer Emiya? And I love the direction you are taking Shirou and Unlimited Blade Works. I am interested to see what direction his dream will go, convinced as he is that Kiritsugu betrayed him like that. On top of thr fact that the one to give him help was an inhuman, blood sucking monster, and rather affable drunk.

Quite a refreshing (lol) take on the "My Body is Made of Swords". Most tend to take a more figurative approach to it (More like a state of mind or a belief, rather), while in certain cases taking it in a more literal step when the Reality Marble begins to encroach and actually turn his body into swords. However, considering the fact that his Reality Marble can literally overwrite the rules of the world in order to create a realm where Shirou's belief is law... the fact that it can be localized to his own body (much like how Kiritsugu's Time Alter was localized to his own body) makes this completely plausible canonically.

I don't think I've seen this ever explored so in depth before, and it's really interesting to see! However, I do believe that this really could only be done by a young Shirou that hasn't been exposed to the outside world... an older Shirou, while still distorted, has been shaped by too many outside human sources for his state of mind to be strong enough to completely carry the belief that he IS a sword. An older Shirou would still believe that he would need blood, his brain, etc, etc in order to live. A young Shirou whose more broken than whole has the right frame of mind, along with a child's belief and imagination, to make this possible.

The only thing in my mind, and this isn't a nitpick or anything, is that I've genuinely fallen in love with the Shirou that wields twin married blades, zooming around the battlefield and chucking them with reckless abandon. I don't think that we're going to lose that Shirou, but at the same time I'm worried that we just might lose too much of Shirou's humanity. Afterall, why would a sword, forged to save, ever need to fall in love?

Obviously I don't know the pairings, but at this rate only the truest, more purest harem route might be available. The route where no one will be happy, not because the protagonist is such an indecisive prick, but because the protagonist is literally a sword ("Why does a sword need emotions?"). LOL

All in all, I'm loving the story man, and it's awesome that you're cranking the chapters out as fast as you can. :) Looking forward to the next one!

Oh man! Saber meeting Shirou as Masters in the Grail War? That'll be spicy. You also KNOW that a certain drinking vampire will be taking a close interest in the proceedings.
