I just finished beating Halo Infinite's Campaign and while playing it, the Jackals actually spoke more than usually. 343 gave them more life along with all the other Banished species. I thought to myself, no one in their right mind made a fic about a Jackal and human getting together. Out of morbid curiousity, I looked it up. Low and behold, I find Featherkisser. I was impressed with how you handled the story and the main character's growing relationship. You made a love story that I don't think anyone else would. Elites are the ones most look at when it comes to cross-species relationships in Halo fanfics. You looked past their appearance and made something beautiful. Showing that love can appear in many different forms.

A peculiar fic, but not an unwelcome one.
The prose is nice, and the fic is short but sweet. Honestly there really isn't much else that can be said other than that considering what is on offer. Though if I am being honest, your prose is wasted on fanfiction. Considering you do paid work, it seems sensible to do work for a property that is entirely your own rather than waste it for IPs that belong to other entities. Especially since there is a possible but low risk factor that you may end up on the wrong side of a C&D or worse.
With that in mind, perhaps you should slowly withdraw from writing fanfiction and transition to writing original works. I can easily see you converting this fic at least to some original property to make some decent money as an independent author, along with an already pre-established audience to boot.
Ultimately it is up to you, but I think you would do well as an original writer from what little I have seen. Seems a better fit than writing mere fanfiction, at least in regards to doing anything more than as a guilty pleasure or refining your skills in a semi-controlled environment.

this story is very well written. we get an introduction to the charecters, see their relationship develop, some good physical descriptions, a bit of foreplay, and then some all out sex, with a lot of casual violence along the way

A very nice read, had me laughing a few times, gave me chills the next, if you dont mind the interspecies stuff then this stuff is for you, you should write more
